I was told life’s too short to hold onto a grudge,
but don’t subject yourself to being misjudged.
I’m not holding a grudge, just protecting my time,
which is better allocated to my peace of mind.
I’m staying away from those who are jealous,
focusing on the delicate and precious.
So that I can be the best version of me
for my family most importantly.
There’s no room or time for grudges or resentment.
My hands are full of more valuable and pertinent.
Maintaining privacy, safety, and security.
Modern-day scarcities, mere existence is a luxury.
In a world where monetization takes precedence.
Next is minimization and short-sightedness.
I’m building a life full of humanization,
loving and meaningful perpetuation.
If self-preservation is interpreted a grudge,
it’s no wonder education is needed to be an actual judge.
